Depending on how well you know me, you may or may not know that I love music. Anything from trouncing about in goth clubs to mulling about indie concerts, I’m all over the place and enjoying myself.

I just bought tickets to the two largest music festivals in Chicago, the Pitchfork Music Festival and Lollapalooza. Pitchfork, is by all respects, these days an incubator for the next big things things in music, and a restrospective look at what is awesome. I mean, where else are you going to hear Public Enemy and Mission of Burma on the same day?

In contrast, Lollapalooza, are the big things in music. I’m looking forward to seeing a lot of bands I made fun of or ignored completely, then discovered that they didn’t suck; such as Animal Collective, Battles, and CSS. However, I will Be avoiding G Love & The Special Sauce like the goddamn plague. So who else has tickets to these events?
